The Board of Directors of the International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA) has approved the creation of a new task force to help advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, with the aim of providing support for projects that include the use of technology UV to protect public health and the environment in disadvantaged or poor contexts.
The activities of the IUVA Task Force will include reviews of water technology and the organization of meetings and webinars with international stakeholders. The Task Force aims to focus on spreading UV-C technology to improve accessibility to clean water around the world, where many NGOs, universities and private companies have long been engaged.
The development of UV-C systems can accelerate access to clean water, improving everyone’s living conditions.
