UV-C LED rays to sanitize hospitals from Coronavirus

Blog & News

ASL Napoli 3 sud has decided to use the six robot to sanitize and disinfect rooms from Coronavirus through the use of UV-C LED rays. The robots use pulsed UV-C rays generated by a XENON lamp that radiates the entire germicidal spectrum (200nm-280nm) and sanitizes the room in which it is placed. UV-C rays destroy bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores through interaction with Dna / Rna thanks to various cell destruction mechanisms. The emergency room ambulances, on the other hand, are equipped with portable nebulizers that allow decontamination and disinfection by air, using solutions based on hydrogen peroxide.

The fight against Coronavirus COVID 19 continues through the use of the latest “safe” technologies such as UV-C LEDs
